The Video Project

VIDEO PROJECT

A call for anyone skilled at working on a video project for the internet, either for U-Tube, a website or both. The videos would show the stories of those on the registry that would play sympathetically to the public; young offenders, offenders with stupid or silly charges, such as public urination, mooning, cases of false accusations that are blatant miscarriages of justice, or just cases where people would be able to see the law running roughshod over someone. It would be good to have as many examples in each category as possible, i.e. downloading porn, Romeo and Juliet cases, et cetera.

The most important thing we need for this is volunteers who are willing to tell their story, or a family member or friend who can tell the story for them. Images can be masked or blured and voice altered to prootect identities. The presentation will include educational material with the video about the laws and registry.

Anyone with theater, public speaking, or produciton background will be an asset in this project.

This is a big project and we need people committed to making it happen. If we had an ongoing video on line called “I am a Sex Offender” and people were attracted to it and became educated, it could become a phenomenon to counter the hysteria, and public sentiment could turn our way.

RSOL is growing and moving forward. Our origins included many plans that have become realities. Among these are:

In the past, individuals and generous donations to meet specific needs funded these efforts.

That has changed. We must keep these active programs going and we must be prepared to meet the costs these programs incur. In short, we must have an income stream. RSOL needs your help and will continue to need your help. We need dollars, literally a dollar or as many dollars as you are able to give and we need to have a continuous flow of dollars.

To meet this need, as always, you can send a check or money order to:

Or, you can now donate through Pay Pal by going to: Pay Pal

If you can give a dollar a week or a dollar a month, you will be helping us get the truth out and begin tumbling this house of cards. If you can give more, we can do more. What is important is that we all begin to give and we give as regularly as we are able.
